Teaching

Agricultural economics and computational methods

I teach agricultural economics, policy analysis, and computational methods in English and German, at bachelor’s and master’s level.

My courses combine theory with exercises, discussion, and applied work. Students learn to examine a model’s assumptions and interpret its results, including the limits of what the evidence supports.

Supervision & research training

I have supervised student projects and mentored doctoral students working with policy-process and equilibrium models. In research seminars, students develop a feasible research question and choose methods suited to it, drawing on the literature. They also give structured feedback on each other’s work.
